Your maternity session is thoughtfully planned around how you want to be photographed. We’ll choose the setting, wardrobe, styling and overall feel together—whether you envision something soft and romantic, timeless and refined, or more fashion-inspired and editorial.
Sessions can take place outdoors or in the studio and may include several looks, giving us the opportunity to create a varied collection of portraits that feels distinctly yours.

When to Schedule
Maternity sessions are typically photographed between 28 and 34 weeks, when your belly is beautifully defined and while you’re still likely to feel comfortable enough to enjoy the experience.
I recommend reaching out earlier in your pregnancy so we have plenty of time to plan your session, reserve your date and thoughtfully coordinate wardrobe, location and styling.
More Than Maternity Photographs
While your pregnancy is at the heart of the session, you don’t have to be photographed only as an expectant mother. We can also create beautiful portraits of you as a woman—giving you a collection that celebrates this season while still feeling timeless beyond it.

Your family session is thoughtfully planned around the people you love and the way you want to remember this season of your lives. Together, we’ll choose a location, wardrobe and overall feel that complement your family while creating a beautiful, cohesive collection of portraits.
During the session, I’ll guide you when you need it—but I’ll also leave room for movement, laughter, closeness and the little interactions that make your family yours. The result is a mix of beautifully composed portraits and genuine moments that never feel stiff or forced.

What If My Children Don't Cooperate?
They don’t need to.
Children aren’t expected to stand perfectly still, smile on command or perform for the camera. I work with their personalities and give them time to become comfortable, incorporating movement and play while gently guiding your family throughout the session.
Some of the most meaningful photographs happen in the moments between the posed ones—a little hand reaching for yours, a spontaneous laugh, or the way your child naturally curls into your arms.
Location & Styling
Your location and wardrobe are an important part of creating photographs that feel intentional and beautiful. I’ll help you choose a setting that suits the look you envision and guide you in coordinating your family’s clothing without making everyone look overly matched.
We’ll consider color, texture, season and location together so that everything works beautifully both in your photographs and, if you choose, as artwork displayed in your home.
